Following the last post(WordPress) and before last(Cloud), we are goiing to highlight the details of the settings for adding a new server .

This time, we will focus on “Web Hosting” server.

●1 Plan

1-1.Region： Choose your preferred region for the datacenter from Tokyo, Singapore, or U.S. If you are publishing your contents mainly for Southeastern-Asia, choose “Singapore” for more speedy connection.

1-2.Plan：

Z.com offers three types of plan: Zero, Zeta, and Zeus. Select the plan suits you best.

●2.cPanel

Z.com Web Hosting offers “cPanel,” the world’s most popular control panel.

For this section, set your domain name and a password for cPanel.

2-1.Your Domain Name：

At Z.com, you can use your own sub-domain for free.

The domain that has been designated here can be used as a domain for the website and the e-mail add

ress used by cPanel. If you want to use your unique domain, please set the domain from cPanel after you have added the server.

The length can be 1 to 63 characters. Small alphabet characters, numbers, and hyphens (–),can be used.

2-2.User Name：

It will be created automatically after servers are added.

2-3.Password：

Set the password for cPanel. The length can be 5 to 20 characters.

As you enter the password, “Password Strength” will be displayed below.

Avoid a password that’s too simple, such as “1234” or “5555”. “Password Strength” should be over 40.

2-4.Re-enter Password：

Your password is important. Please re-enter to make sure the password you entered above is correct .

●3 Option

3-1.Name Tag：

This is a server name to identify the server. The length can be 1 to 255 characters, and alphanumeric characters, hyphens (-), and underscores (_) can be used.

The default name is the date and time of the setting. It can be changed as you like.

3-2.Static IP Address：

The static IP address is offered as an option for an additional charge. You can add it later as well. The price will differ from the region you selected at 1-1. The price per 1 static IP address is as follows:

・Tokyo：65,000VND/mo

・U.S.：100,000VND/mo

・Singapore：100,000VND/mo

3-3.Automatic DNS Settings：

Setting this item to ON automatically sets the DNS records such as the web server and the mail server set in cPanel to the name server of Z.com. When a record item has already been set, the record will not be overwritten. You are typically recommended to set this item to ON.

The price per a month will be displayed at the bottom of the page. Click “Add” to complete the settings.

Please note that the price displaying here will not be charged immediately.

If you use your server only for short time(e.g. a week, 16 days),

hourly rate fee（Zero plan: 110VND/a hour） will be adopted automatically, and the total cost will be much smaller than that!

Adding to that, one of the Z.com WordPress’s strength is clear flat-rate pricing.

If you don’t add any option or additional server,

We will never charge any additional fee automatically.
