What is WHOIS?

Under ICANN's (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) policy, it is mandatory for domain owners to ensure that the WHOIS data of their domain names are correct and kept up-to-date. This data, which is required during registration, will contain personal information which include the registrant, administrative, technical, billing, and contact details. WHOIS data is usually open to public and anyone can look you up on the WHOIS website via your domain name.

At Z.com, we protect your domains for FREE with any domain registered*!
